Salut!!!

Sorry to all,but i don't speak French!!!Hope someone talks English,or Spanish!!!I'm a fellow CRM enthusiast from San Sebastian,Spain.I bought it a few months ago and i've fully rebuilt the bike, engine and body!!!

I have putted a few 'performance' parts to the engine like a NSR crank and con rod from the Spanish NSR circuit cup.Obviously i've putted all new bearings, gaskets and oil selas!!

The engine only had 6000 kms,but i like to do the things in the correct way and seeing that i've big plans for the bike i wanted all to be perfect!!!I also fitted an EBC complete clutch and a V force 3 reed cage (boite á clappets) from a CR 125.

The bike really goes fast!!!I'm loving it!!I've always been a 2t guy (have had TZR 125,RD 350,NSR 80) and this bike is a lot of Fun!!I use it mainly off road.

Got some plans for it.Want to fit a Malossi 180 cc cylinder kit with a Mikuni 36 carb, but firstly i need an exhaust!!!!

I know that it's been talked here but, what's the best exhaust system for the CRM???
Arrow,Rino or Dep????

I don't want to loose low-mid power, well not that much!!!But really i don't know which one is bettrer for off road, any help greatly appreciated!!!

Here are some pics of my CRM,hope you like it!!!!

Merci!!!!!!!!! Very HappyVery Happy

Hi sorry but I don't speek english very well.
From what cr have you take the reed cage?
For your exhaust you want more high power that's it?For the high power I believe the arrow is good but but I've never try it.
Find you easily dep rino and arrow exhaust un spain?and which is their price? In France dep ans arrow exhausts aren't sold any more and the rino is only on order.

Hello! Welcome in this forum cheers

You have a very nice bike, whith many special parts thumleft

For the exhaust, i have the arrow so take tehe arrow LaughingLaughing
No seriously (ça existe ce mot? Confused ) i think that de DEP is not product yet. Today they are turn on the MX only Sad
What exhaust can you by in spain? Rino? Arrow? Question

If you have the choice, you should take te arrow because it is good at the midle range and it has a very high power when you are at 9000-10 000 rpm

But you must know that they are not a best exhaust for the CRM, they have all advantages

Now i have some questions:

Why have you choose the malossi kit?

Why have you change your biela?

I don't understand what's the NSR crank ( c'est l'embrayage nan?) , what's con rod and why have you change this?

PS: sorry for my bad English Confused

Merci a tout!!!! Very HappyVery Happy

Many thanks for the replys, this is a very nice forum!!! tongue

The crank is the vilebrequin,that's right?,the biela=con rod=bielle and the clutch=embrayage.

There are a few power kits for this engine.Polini has a 160 cc one,Malossi 180 cc and finally Athena with a 190 cc one!!!The athena has no rc valve,it's really a circuit only kit!!!

I've changed all the parts because i'm going to fit one of that higher cc power cylinders in the bike and don't want to have any problem!!!

The boite a clapets is from a '94 Honda CR 125 and the embrayage ausi.

In Spain i can get the Dep full exhaust system, pot+silencieux, for 300€,there's no problem! Also can get the Arrow no problem(215 le pot + 75 le silencieux) but if i want the Rino i would have to buy it in Belgium or France.

I drive the bike off road,so don't want to loose a lot of low-mid range power....

Thanks again,MERCI!!!!!!!!! Cool

Ok thank's what's the price of the Vforce?
which carburettor you will put?
Have modified something to put the "boite a clapet" and the clutch? Mr. Green
You are lucky you can have the exhaust of your choice. santa
Which power develop these engines?

Hello!!!!

I paid 100€ for the V force in Ebay USA.For fitting it it's quite easy, just need to modify a little the angle fro attach the carburattor. The clutch fits without any problem, directly!!!

For the carburattor i've a Mikuni 34 mm one that i'll try, think it has to go very good!!!

Polini says that the 160 cc kit gives 35 ch,Malossi one is good for 40 cv and the Athena 190 one gives around 45 cv.That's what the brands says,i don't really trust a lot in that info, but i'm sure that a CRM with any of that kits will runvery very good!!! Very HappyVery Happyviking

Still don't know what to do with the exhaust!!!Which one sounds more???You loose a lot of power in the middle range with the Arrow comparing to the standard system???

Merci!!!!! cheers

Salut!

I know Arrow (I got one) and DEP (heard about it)

DEP is for "cross" machines, it's efficient in low and middle rpm but you lose the high rpm (max 10'000-10'500) but arrow is for "road" machines, the power is delivered in high rpm (low and middle are a bit more better than original exhaust) and you can go to 12'000rpm without prob! The max power is over 10'000rpm! You have a power kick at 8000rpm and a bigger kick at 10'000 til 11'500!! Twisted Evil

see you Wink

Thnak you very much!!!!! viking

Ok,so for me the Dep will be better as i use the bike for off road,cross/enduro. Cool

The difference in price is 'high' ,380€ the Dep and 270€ the Arrow, that's why i was doubting!!!

Will order the Dep tomorrow,i'll put some pics when i get it,MERÇi!!!!!!!!! Very HappyVery Happy

Moreover, with the arrow, I think that you win in middle, but you lost in up.

No whit the arrow you win in up and a little in the middle and the low. it's the Rino and the DEP, you loose in up

-alors avec la ligne d'origine c'est 130 voir 135 avec l'achat de clapet carbone (mais c'est quand même dur pour y arriver à 135) ;

Ok just be sure that in the two cases you will lost about 300 euros...

Merci!

Aitor, If I was you, i think I took the DEP, it's beautiful
